ACT WorkKeys was chosen to be one of two measures that can be given to students to meet the career ready academic portion of college and career readiness.

Students must take three (Applied Math, Locating Information and Reading for Information) WorkKeys tests and receive a silver level or higher on all three to meet the benchmark set for WorkKeys.

ACT WorkKeys is a job skills assessment system that helps employers select, hire, train, develop, and retain a high-performance workforce.  This series of tests measures foundational and soft skills and offers specialized assessments to target institutional needs.
