Career Readiness

A career ready student is a student who is preparatory in a Career and Technical Education career major and has reached the benchmarks on WorkKeys or ASVAB and KOSSA or an Industry Certification.

Preparatory Definition - A Student who has completed two career and technical education credits in a preparatory program and is enrolled in the third credit course(s).
 
College and Career Readiness Chart
The College and Career Readiness chart shows the different tests/qualifications that a student must get to be college ready, career ready, or college and career ready.  The chart below illustrates these requirements in each one of those categories.
 
College and Career Readiness Report
This report indicates the number of graduates and percentage that have successfully met an indicator of readiness for college/career. The indicators of readiness include student performance on the ACT, completion of college placement tests or attainment of an industry-recognized career certificate.

TEDS is the authoritative source for all career readiness data.  The TEDS website provides helpful tools and resources to verify and correct career readiness data.
