The SAC is composed of two representatives selected by each of the regional educational cooperatives as well as the regional representatives and officers of the Kentucky Association of School Superintendents (KASS). The SAC advised the Commissioner on issues of educational policy. The group provides input to the Commissioner on the role of the district-level staff in supporting local schools as they work to achieve proficiency for each student. Linda France, Deputy Commissioner, Office of Learning and Results Services, is the KDE contact for this group.
