Attached is an estimated calculation of the Preschool FY 08 shortfall. The Preschool rates are calculated by estimating the negative adjustment and the supplemental 3’s by using prior year’s figures. The differences in the estimated and actual figures were greater than anticipated. This difference created a shortfall of $1,120,711 for the current year. Each district’s allocation was reduced by the district’s percent of total allocation. Please see below your revised in the 4th quarter payment amount for fiscal year 2008.
