The Milken Family Foundation Educator Awards are sponsored by the Milken Family Foundation, and include a $25,000 stipend to two Kentucky educators. The award also includes an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. for a national conference and awards ceremony.
The Milken Family Foundation selects the winners through a review process involving a panel of judges representing various parts of Kentucky. There is no application or nomination process for this program.
The selection process is continuous, but culminates with announcement of winners in October. A state awards conference and banquet are held in March.
