Last Updated on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 5:01 AM

KRS 158.808 allocated $600,000 each biennium to the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) to provide grants to middle schools and high schools to establish an Energy Technology Engineering Career Pathway. KDE has selected PLTW as the curriculum for this pathway.  Many energy components are already included in the PLTW curriculum. This Request For Application (RFA) will allow local school districts to apply for a grant to establish an energy technology engineering pipeline for students to enter postsecondary related programs and related careers.
