Last Updated on Wednesday, July 02, 2008 at 5:02 AM

The 2006 Technical Report is a biennial report that describes the 2005 and 2006 Kentucky Core Content Tests and their technical characteristics as components of the Commonwealth Accountability Testing System.  The anticipated audience for this publication is educators and others familiar with technical and statistical aspects of measurement and research.  At the same time it is hoped that many others will benefit from reading selections of the report.  Readers seeking less technical treatment of the topics are referred to the 2006 KCCT interpretive Guide, while readers seeking additional technical information are referred to the full text of studies published by the Kentucky Department of Education.  These resources are available on the KDE web site.   All readers are invited to contact the Kentucky Department of Education, Office of Assessment and Accountability for clarification and additional background.
