Below are emails sent from the Communications Branch of the Division of Assessment Support to District Assessment Coordinators (DACs). These emails, usually sent on Monday, encompass the communications from June 2008 through May 2009. Individual emails provide reminders of upcoming events and deadlines, address changes in policy and procedure, answer frequently asked questions, and provide documents and forms to those implementing CATS in the field. These emails also cover other assessments given through the Office of Assessment and Accountability, including EXPLORE, PLAN, ACT, and End of Course Assessments. Writing Portfolio scoring and training opportunities are addressed through input from the Kentucky Writing Consultants in the Office of Teaching and Learning.
