2006 CATS Briefing Packet Last updated on Wednesday, September 20, 2006
The annual Commonwealth Accountability Testing System Score Release media packet (CATS Briefing Packet) contains state testing results, interpretive materials and a summary of school and district performance. The media files are in a couple of different formats requiring the following applications for viewing:

● (xls) Excel Spreadsheet
Note: Data in the Briefing Packets has not been, and will not be, updated to reflect results of data review and other quality assurance processes. For data that is accurate through November 13, 2006, see the 2006 Kentucky Performance Reports.
See also the research data in the OAA folder on the KDE FTP site. This folder currently contains a document entitled Index of Files (both Word doc. and PDF) that lists all file types with a brief description of each. A folder entitled School Level File Layouts contains a more detailed description of each file layout. Finally, the files are divided into folders by type.
