DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide professional support to the staff at the elementary school in developing, implementing, and maintaining various complex programs and projects.
Responsible for general office management in Walker Hall.
Provide administrative support to the Elementary School Director and Boyle County preschool program.
Monitor departmental budgets and handle all purchase orders.
Maintain/balance the budgets for the department, student council, ESS, student activity, and individual students. Prepare and process DPR’s.
Order all supplies for the Elementary Department. Place supply orders, keep inventory of supplies, and replenish supplies as needed. Keep supply room orderly and label/card new resources for the department.
Process all correspondence for the department and the director including typing/composing letters, memos, reports, and forms as needed.
Draft letters, reports, forms, schedules, and class lists for the director.
Responsible for maintaining attendance and report cards for the Elementary Department. Enter attendance daily in the computer. Maintain files. Type, collate, mail, and file report cards. Develop progress reports, report cards, and student demographic information as needed. Develop forms as needed.
Complete special assignments as needed including but not exclusive of attending to sick students, students with behavior issues, interpreting as needed, transports student to various places, schedules substitute teachers.
Responsible for coordinating transportation for students and sending reports on same.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor’s degree. Must have three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
SUBSTITUTION CLAUSE:
Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Pay Grade: 12
Gross Monthly Salary Range: $2,427.44 - $3,215.72
