(FRANKFORT, Ky.) – The Commissioner’s Blue Ribbon Panel on intervention strategies will hold its first meeting Monday, February 25, from 1 to 4 p.m. EST in the auditorium of the Capital Plaza Tower in Frankfort.
The panel was formed to review strategies that have proven successful in helping struggling schools raise the achievement levels of students, despite barriers like poverty. The panel will look at initiatives such as the Scholastic Audit process, Highly Skilled Educators and Voluntary Partnership Assistance Teams, programs developed in Kentucky that have shown success. The group also will analyze programs from other states.
