EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY TO MEET

News Advisory 08-052 - July 14, 2008

            (FRANKFORT, Ky.) – The Early Childhood Development Authority will meet Friday, July 18, in the State Board Room on the first floor of the Capital Plaza Tower in Frankfort.

            The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and is scheduled to end at noon. Agenda items include an update from the Reach Out and Read project, information about the Seniors for Kids initiative and updates on child care regulations.

The Early Childhood Development Authority is the governing body for the KIDS NOW initiative. The group determines how early childhood development funds will be expended and ensures that programs are expending funds as intended. The authority meets at least quarterly and at other times as needed. Meetings are held in Frankfort.
