(FRANKFORT, Ky.) -- Kentucky Education Commissioner Gene Wilhoit will visit schools in Logan and Boone Counties next week.
This tour is designed to provide the commissioner with opportunities to talk with teachers, students and staff at schools and districts that have asked him to visit in the past. The schools primarily are located in the Pennyrile and Western Coalfields regions of the state. One visit will take place in northern Kentucky. Wilhoit has visited schools in Christian, Ohio and Metcalfe Counties and Paducah Independent.
