(FRANKFORT, Ky.) -- The Kentucky Board of Education will meet Wednesday and Thursday, June 2 and 3, in the State Board Room of the Capital Plaza Tower in Frankfort.
On Wednesday, the board will hold a special study session on assessment and accountability at 8 a.m. The board will meet in full session at 8:45 a.m. The board's committees will meet beginning at 9:30 a.m. On Thursday, the board's Management Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m., and the full board will meet at 9:30 a.m.
Agenda items include an update on the Reading First program, a discussion of the proposed secondary GED program and the presentation of the inaugural Samuel Robinson Award.
