(FRANKFORT, Ky.) -- The Kentucky Board of Education will meet Wednesday and Thursday, April 6 and 7, in the State Board Room of the Capital Plaza Tower in Frankfort.
On Wednesday, the board will meet in full session beginning at 8:30 a.m. Committee meetings will begin at 2 p.m. On Thursday, the board's Assessment Committee will meet at 8 a.m., the Management Committee will meet at 10 a.m., and the full board will meet at 12:45 p.m.
Agenda items include the Request for Proposals for the state's assessment contract, an appeal of a nonresident student contract between Breathitt County and Jackson Independent and a report on elementary and secondary education legislation from the 2005 General Assembly session.
