(FRANKFORT, Ky.) -- Parents of school-age children can receive helpful information related to education and child development from the Kentucky Department of Education.

Twice a month, the department sends out a free electronic newsletter called ParentInfo that includes brief features on school testing, child health, help with homework and other topics.

Recent issues included information on post-high school planning, reminders about school bus safety, student testing details and training for school-based decision making council members.

To receive ParentInfo, parents may register by visiting the department's Web site at http://www.education.ky.gov. Enter "parentinfo" in the keyword/search box, then click Search. This will take you to the subscription page for ParentInfo, where you also may view archived issues. Or, click here to be redirected to the subscription page.
