(FRANKFORT, Ky.) -- The Kentucky Board of Education will meet Wednesday and Thursday, December 7 and 8, in the State Board Room of the Capital Plaza Tower in Frankfort.
On Wednesday, the board will meet in full session beginning at 8:15 a.m. The board's Management Committee will meet at 3:15 p.m. On Thursday, the board's Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Committee will meet at 9 a.m. The board will meet in full session beginning at 9:45 a.m.
Agenda items include final approval on regulations relating to improving high school education, presentations on assistance for low-performing school districts and a final report on the differentiated compensation pilot.

**NOTE TO EDITORS AND REPORTERS: Item XIII-B-2 (Management Committee) includes a review of the proposals adopted at the Kentucky High School Athletics Association's (KHSAA) annual meeting in October. The full board will hear a report from the Management Committee, including these items, on Thursday.
