News Advisory 06-029 -- June 6, 2006
(FRANKFORT, Ky.) – The Kentucky Board of Education will meet Tuesday and Wednesday, June 13 and 14, in the State Board Room on the first floor of the Capital Plaza Tower in Frankfort. On Tuesday, the meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. The board’s Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction Committee will meet at 1 p.m., and the board will resume full session at 2:30 p.m. On Wednesday, the board’s Management Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m., and the full board will meet at 10 a.m. Agenda items include presentations and discussions on the state assessment and accountability system, low-performing schools and the Kentucky Education Technology System (KETS). The board also will hear the Statement of Consideration for 704 KAR 3:303, the regulation that governs The Program of Studies for Kentucky Schools, Grades P-12.
