(FRANKFORT, Ky.) – Kentucky Interim Education Commissioner Kevin Noland will visit the four public schools named as 2006 national Blue Ribbon Schools awardees.
The visits will take place in November and December and are designed to provide statewide recognition to the Kentucky public schools receiving the award. Nationwide, nearly 300 schools have been honored with NCLB - Blue Ribbon Schools awards, which recognize public and private P-12 schools that are either academically superior in their states or that demonstrate dramatic gains in student achievement.
