(FRANKFORT, Ky.) – The Kentucky Board of Education will meet Wednesday and Thursday, December 6 and 7, in the State Board Room of the Capital Plaza Tower in Frankfort.
On Wednesday, the board will meet in full session beginning at 8:30 a.m. The board’s Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction Committee will meet at 2 p.m., and the Management Committee will meet at 3:45 p.m. On Thursday, the full board will meet beginning at 8:30 a.m., and it will go into executive session prior to and after lunch to interview potential firms to handle the search for a new commissioner of education.
Agenda items include the school accountability regulation, the unmet technology need and the 2007 KBE legislative agenda. The board will present the Joseph W. Kelly Award prior to lunch on Wednesday.
