Nutritional and Food Science

Nutritional and food science is a one credit interdisciplinary course that meets the academic credit for life science component within the science requirement.  This course focuses on understanding nutritional concepts and relationships between nutrition and science with practical application and scientific methods of inquiry.  The family and consumer sciences teacher and science teacher work together in planning and evaluating the course.
