These are the training materials used across the state to train administrators and teachers on the changes to the Core Content for Assessment including the addition of Depth of Knowledge.

The materials are divided into two sections.

The first set of training materials provide a general overview of the purpose of Core Content for Assessment, the differences between versions 3.0 and 4.1 and an introduction to DOK.

The second set of training materials support content area teachers as they implement CCA 4.1 in their classrooms. Examples of released assessment items are included annotated to DOK to help teachers understand assessment and instructional implications these changes.

These files are in several formats. MicroSoft Word and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat. If you want to save a PowerPoint presnetation to your computer hold the shift key down when selecting the link. Once you have saved the file, you will need to change the view to normal. To print the Trainer Notes you wil need to make that selection after choosing File - Print - Print What (choose note pages).
