Anderson County Schools shared their primary math curriculum maps.

When we began the process of identifying a math textbook it was decided that we would first establish the curriculum (in detail) and then begin the process of selecting the instructional materials that best fit our need. The entire mapping process involved our curriculum resource teachers dedicating their full attention to the process for many months. It also involved a team from each school which reviewed and field-tested the curriculum prior to adoption. Our math curriculum along with all curriculums are fluid documents which staff are using, modifying, and improving to meet the needs of students.
