Title III allocates federal funding to states and schools through formula grants. Included in this section are summary highlights of the purpose, funding allocations and requirements of Title III, including examples of allowable expenditures and "look fors."

In the recently enacted state budget for FY2005-06, additional funds have been added to the SEEK Base specifically for Limited English Proficiency. It is important to understand the accounting procedures for these funds.
