The Kentucky Annual Measurable Achievement Objectives (AMAO's) are based on the English Language Proficiency Standards for Kentucky Schools and relate to LEP students' development and attainment of English language proficiency (Title III, Section 3122). A notification letter for Title III AMAO has been sent from the Kentucky Department of Education (Commissioner Gene Wilhoit) to the Superintendents, Title III Directors, Title I Directors and District Assessment Coordinator of each district that served LEP students in 2004-2005. This letter, along with a Title III AMAO Interpretive Guide, and a Power Point Presentation are available below for download.
