KAMC currently has this version ready for distribution.
Accessibility Pending - denotes the KAMC is working with the publisher to have an accessible digital version by the start of 2005-06 school year.
Not Accessible - denotes that the KAMC does not anticipate having an accessible digital version from the publisher.
N/A (Not Applicable) - denotes an item that is exempt from the accessibility requirement due to its intended use or format (i.e., big book, audiotape, etc.).
(Accessibility last updated 12/28/04)
Although schools can purchase books on the list that are not available in an accessible digital format, preference should be given to books that are accessible. If a school purchases books that are not accessible, it is the responsibility of the school to provide the digital version to their students with disabilities. This can be done by requesting the electronic version directly from the publisher, or creating it through scanning.
