Vendor and Contract Management

- Description: The KETS Vendor & Contract Management service provides for management of KETS technolgy standards and contracts. This service aligns with the KETS Master Plan for Education Technology for KETS Standars & Establishing Technology Need. Services include competitive bid solicitation to establish contracts as well as management of existing contracts for compliance to terms/conditions and any exisiting Service Level Agreements, Statements of Work or vendor issues.
KDE acts as a liaison between our vendors/partners, the Finance Cabinet's Office of Procurement Services and school districts in reviewing and approving contract modifications and resolving vendor issues.

Architectural Standards
Customer: All School Districts, KDE
Description: The KETS Architectural Standards Committee (KASC) was formed to participate in the overall governance aspects of architectural standards adoption and/or modification.
This committee is comprised of both local school district and KDE representatives, and is chartered to provide guidance, input, and recommendations into the overall process of technology standards adoption. The KASC meets on an as-needed basis and submits recommendations to the KDE Office of Education Technology.
