- Mission Statement - Provide Security and Business Continuity guidance and leadership to KDE and OET with the implementation of comprehensive policy, best practices, and procedures.
- Program Scope
Provide oversight and centralized security management to the KDE Enterprise with complimentary security representatives from each KDE Office.
- Policy Management
Collaboration – Cooperate with the KDE Technology Policy and Data Policy Committees in the development of policies to standardize and regulate the use of technology throughout KDE.
Security – Develop and communicate a comprehensive Security Policy with supporting security control policies.
Disaster Recovery – Develop a KDE Disaster Recovery strategy beginning with a formal documented plan.
- Project Prioritization and Alignment
Perform gap analysis of Process and policy to drive and prioritize IT Security initiatives and related projects.
