Published: 5/21/2013 10:44 PM

Keyboard shortcuts are combinations of two or more keys that, when pressed together, can be used to perform a task that would typically require a mouse.

These shortcuts, which include the Windows key, can be much faster and easier to use:
· Windows key + Left Arrow and Windows key + Right Arrow – move the active screen to the left and right side of the screen
· Windows key + Down Arrow – minimize active screen
· Windows key + Up Arrow – maximize active screen
· Windows key + M – minimizes all screens
· Windows key + Shift+M – undo Windows key + M
· Windows key + Home – minimizes/restores all open windows except the active window
· Windows key + F – search for a file
· Windows key + L – locks your computer
· Windows key + D – displays the desktop
· Windows key + Plus Sign (+) – open magnifier zoom in
· Windows key + Minus Sign(-) – open magnifier zoom out
· Windows key + Esc – exit the magnifier
· Windows key + Tab – show your open Windows 3D style; continue to hold the Windows key and tap the Tab key and cycle through the open windows
