KSIS Cloud Migration

The Infinite Campus private cloud solution reduces costs by having data and hardware in a single location, creating efficiencies in hardware and service, provides better physical security, allows for quicker troubleshooting and resolution of server/software issues, and reduces dependencies on KDE and district-managed infrastructure.

District Technical Reference
This document, written for district technology staff, describes the integration of the KSIS Cloud environment within KETS and provides guidance for certain configuration choices.


Current Project Status
Nineteen districts successfully migrated to the Cloud during phase two!  Phase three districts begin migrating in late May.

Campus Community support cases are being used to communicate with districts and to answer questions.   Districts that migrated in December should open new support cases.  Districts that will be migrating in 2017 should use their current support cases until their migration is complete.
