The goal of KY Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) is to promote healthy communities through innovative partnerships.

​This is accomplished by providing:

• educational support services to health profession students and health care providers
• community health education
• programs that encourage health professions as a career choice

All AHECs have committed to collaborating with KY schools in Operation Preparation. Below are links to each AHEC that schools can contact to arrange for advisors for students who have identified a desire to explore or pursue a career in the health profession.
