In an effort to reduce the impact on district time and services, the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) began coordinating the monitoring of its state and federal programs during the 2011-12 school year with a group of 14 school districts.
This year, a new group of districts has been identified. These districts were identified using a
flowchart model designed by the Office of Next-Generation Schools and Districts. Based on this flowchart, the following districts have been identified for Statewide Consolidated Monitoring in the 2012-13 school year.
