K-T Instructor (Welding Technology) - Casey Co

​The Kentucky Department of Education, Office of Career and Technical Education, Casey County Technology Center in Liberty, Kentucky has an opening for a Welding Technology Instructor.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaches occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program.
Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught;
Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught.
Four years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.
Special Requirements:
Must have AWS or be able to obtain within specified time frame*
*Specified time frame means:

(a) Employees hired January through June, have through the end of the calendar year to acquire certification.
(b) Employees hired July through December have through the end of the school year   (June) to acquire certification.
This is a Requirement of Continued Employment
In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Kentucky Teachers’ Retirement System.
2014-2015 Salary dependent upon qualifications, training, and experience.
