The Kentucky Department of Education collects and publishes a wealth of data related to the state’s public education system. Researchers and others seeking information can find data on everything from enrollment to finance to test scores through our Open House site. If the data you require isn’t available through Open House, you may make a specific data request. The KDE may consider data requests for educational purposes allowed under the Family Educational Rights Protection Act (FERPA) if the research study meets criteria related to KDE goals and objectives.
