Special Education Information Brochures

These brochures were developed in an effort to inform parents, and others who work with students with disabilities about the unique services guaranteed special education students under federal and state law.  These brochures also provide the support needed to understand special education in Kentucky.  Topics include the Individual Education Program (IEP), Confidentiality, Admissions and Release Committee (ARC) and the Special Education Process.  This information is intended to be shared with parents, local district staff, and special education students to better familiarize all parties with issues surrounding special education programs in Kentucky schools.  Most documents are two pages and intended to be either tri- or quad-folded as handy reference documents.  Please download and duplicate as needed.
