The Kentucky Department of Education is offering various forms of professional learning opportunities for educators to increase their knowledge of the Professional Growth and Effectiveness System (PGES) as Kentucky prepares for the PGES state wide pilot in 2013-2014. Meaningful professional learning opportunities are available in a variety of ways, are "just in time" and are geared toward individual needs.

Year-At-A-Glance Calendars provide superintendents, principals and teachers an overview of monthly tasks to begin to put in place the Professional Growth & Effectiveness statewide pilot. These individual tasks are designed for each role to support the overall systems change necessary at the school and district. The Year At a Glance calendars enable educators to identify and plan professional learning necessary to ensure successful implementation of the Professional Growth & Effectiveness System. Here are the 2013-14 Year-at-a-Glance calendars for: Principals, and Teachers.
