Kentucky FCCLA State Advisor
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is incorporated as a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young women and men in Family and Consumer Sciences education, as determined by the state department of education, in public and private schools through grade 12. It is open to students of all races and religious beliefs. Organized instruction relating to the mission is part of the Family and Consumer Sciences education program in schools.
The mission of FCCLA is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader, members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communications, practical knowledge and career preparation.
