The philosophy of Kentucky Health Facts is best expressed by the words of Arthur Ashe,
“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”
In order to “start where you are,” health advocates and decision-makers must first identify where that is. Kentucky Health Facts is designed to help communities with that process.
The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky was created in 2001 to address the unmet health care needs of Kentucky, by developing and influencing healthy policy, improving access to care, reducing health risks and disparities and promoting health equity.
