Technology Purchasing and Standards

District Leases Over $100,000

​ KRS 65.944(1)(b) and 702 KAR 3:300 establish the requirement and procedures for school district leases in excess of $100,000 to be approved by the Commissioner of Education.

A district may request the approval of a lease agreement in excess of $100,000 by submitting a completed Lease Checklist, the proposed lease and supporting lease documentation as outlined in the checklist to the Kentucky Department of Education, Office of Education Technology, Division of School Technology Planning and Project Management.
Lease packages should be submitted via e-mail to the district's KETS Field Staff representative.

All Technology Leases using E-rate Funding are to be submitted no later than March 1st, 2022
