​Vendor Management

  • Customer: All School Districts, KDE
  • Description: The Vendor Management service provides for management of vendor contracts both new and existing.  This includes bid solicitation to establish contracts as well as existing contracts for optional renewal and modifications to existing contracts.
    KIDS acts as a liaison between our vendors/partners, the Finance Cabinet's Office of Materials and Procurement and school districts in reviewing and approving contract modifications and resolving vendor issues.

 Architectural Standards

  • Customer: All School Districts, KDE
  • Description: The objective of the Architectural Standards process is to provide oversight to technology standards utilized by school districts including acceptance of proposed standards and responses/actions to requests for standards to be created.
    This service is used by districts when purchasing KETS standard technology items as well as when districts submit through the Architectural Standards Committee a request for new standards to be considered and/or created.
