2017 Mid-Year School Readiness Summit
The purpose of Kentucky's Mid-Year School Readiness Summit is to help school districts, early learning providers and community organizations throughout the Commonwealth make vital connections and collaborations necessary for school readiness.
The Mid-Year School Readiness Summit was held on March 10, 2017, at the Marriott Griffin Gate in Lexington, KY. Thirty-three districts were represented at the event including ten 2016 Teams, seventeen 2015 Teams and six New Teams:
- 2016 Teams: Spencer, Bourbon, Harrison, Russell, Kenton, Owsley, Grant, Bellevue Independent, Hardin, Butler
- 2015 Teams: Boone, Casey, Clark, Covington Independent, Crittenden, Dayton Independent, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Henderson, Jefferson, Madison, Marion, Newport Independent, Warren, Webster, Williamstown Independent
- New Teams: Frankfort Independent, Hart, Monroe, Barren, Bath, Paris Independent
Teams heard from Urban and Rural Models of Excellence and used data and collaboration to create/revise their Action Plans.

2016 School Readiness Summit
The School Readiness Summit was held on September 22, 2016, at the Frankfort Convention Center. 15 teams participated in the event:
Owsley County, Butler County, Spencer County, Russell County, Hardin County, Bourbon County, Grant County, Ohio County, Union County, Logan County, Jessamine County, Kenton County, Bellevue Independent School District, Harrison County and Grayson County.
Approx. 145 persons were in attendance. Using data and collaboration, teams created 30, 60, 90 Day Action Plans with the goal to increase school readiness in their communities.
