Each school district is encouraged to contact the local retired teachers association to arrange for volunteer advisors. Below are the contacts for each district.

KRTA Contacts

Masons

Schools are encouraged to contact their local Masonic Lodge Master to request advisors for Operation Preparation. Here is the Kentucky Lodge Locator.

If you need assistance finding a contact for your local lodge, you may contact Cloyd J. Bumgardner of the Grand Lodge of Kentucky Board of Directors @ 606-271-8688 for more information.

Area Health Education Centers (AHEC)

The goal of Kentucky AHECs is to promote healthy communities through innovative partnerships.

This is accomplished by providing:

  • educational support services to health profession students and health care providers

  • community health education

  • programs that encourage health professions as a career choice

All AHECs have committed to collaborating with KY schools in Operation Preparation. Below are links to each AHEC that schools can contact to arrange for advisors for students who have identified a desire to explore or pursue a career in the health profession.
