Western Kentucky University houses the Carol Martin Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science in Kentucky. Center for Gifted Studies
Located on the Western Kentucky University campus in Bowling Green, Kentucky, The Center for Gifted Studies provides exciting educational opportunities for gifted young people, rigorous professional development for teachers, and support for parents of gifted young people. 

Council for Exceptional Children

The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) advocates for appropriate governmental policies, sets professional standards, provides professional development, advocates for individuals with exceptionalities, and helps professionals obtain conditions and resources necessary for effective professional practice.

Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics

The Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics is a dual-credit residential high school for academically exceptional Kentucky students. The Academy is housed on the campus of Morehead State University.

Davidson Institute for Talent Development

The Davidson Institute for Talent Development is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to recognizing, nurturing and supporting profoundly gifted young people. The Davidson Institute strives to help profoundly intelligent students across the country develop their talents to make a positive difference.​​

Kentucky Association for Gifted Education (KAGE)

The Kentucky Association for Gifted Education (KAGE) is a non-profit volunteer group of parents, teachers, administrators, other educators, and all citizens interested in being advocates for appropriate educational opportunities for gifted and talented youth in Kentucky.

National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC)

The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) is an organization of parents, teachers, educators, other professionals, and community leaders who unite to address the unique needs of children and youth with demonstrated gifts and talents as well as those children who may be able to develop their talent potential with appropriate educational experiences.

Northern Kentucky University’s Program for Talent Development and Gifted Studies
