Each year the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) is required to submit an application to the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) to receive federal funds under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This application will be posted for 60 days prior to submission to the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs for approval.  The public comment period begins March 21, 2022 and ends April 21, 2022. All comments should be submitted to Karla.miller@education.ky.gov.
