Kentucky Administrative Regulations (KARs)
The current Kentucky Administrative Regulations 707 KAR 1:002 -707 KAR
1:380 governing special education programs, revised August 5, 2008, are
available for download. These regulations were provided by the Kentucky
Legislative Research Commission (LRC) and are for informational
purposes only.
The Kentucky Administrative Regulations (KARs) for implementation of
the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) have been amended
to comply with IDEA 2004 and the Codified Federal Regulations (CFRs).
The KARs were effective 12-7-07 and can be found on the Kentucky Administrative Regulations website.
NOTE: This document has been revised as of August 26, 2008. The
following change was made throughout the document: 707 KAR 1:280 was
changed to 707 KAR 1:002.
