The Kentucky Department of Education has compiled a list of information regarding Commercial Driver's License (CDL) information in relation to the duties of a Certified School Bus Driver.

CDL Applications and Renewals
The
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet CDL Document Portal is used to submit a CDL application and update CDL information, including endorsements, medical exam certificate renewals and self-certification renewals.
NOTE: Once a medical exam certificate is uploaded, please send an email to KYTC.CDLSchoolBus@ky.gov to inform them of the upload. In this email. only include the school bus driver's name and license number. Do not include documentation in this email.
