Driver Training Instructor 6-Hour Recertification Class

All School Bus Driver Training Instructors are required to complete a six-hour training annually to retain certification. The six-hour certification training classes listed below will be held from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM local time *with the exception of the KAPT and STAK conferences. Please refer to the conference agenda for daily training times. 

The final 6-hour recertification class ​held in 2025 will be on August 1st, 2025 in Bowling Green, KY. This class also serves as the last opportunity for a makeup class if you were unable to attend any prior sessions.

NOTE: If a School Bus Driver Training Instructor chooses to attend the STA​​K conference listed below, attendance is required each day of the conference to receive credit for the required six-hour update for 2025-2026. Attendance will be recorded daily.
