The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), Career & Technical Education, Wayne County Area Technology Center in Monticello, Kentucky has an opening for an Administrative Specialist Senior.
This position is essential to the operation of the school as it provides assistance to the principal, students, staff, and the public. If you are ambitious, willing to help students achieve their career path, and work as a team member this may be the job for you.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide office support of an administrative nature.
- Obtain, compile, prepare, draft and/or maintain documents including articles, correspondence, financial records, reports, and/or timesheets.
- Proofread documents, maintain filing systems, and/or schedule appointments or hearings.
- Provide guidance according to policy and procedure.
- Maintain accurate school/student data in OCTE and school level reporting/recording systems
- Order office supplies and/or maintain inventory of such.
- May maintain ATC budget/project control.
- May process orders for other staff on state purchasing system.
- Provide general information to others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION:
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
