FY2015 Read to Achieve (RTA) RFA Awards
The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) is pleased to announce that the review process for the FY2015 Read to Achieve (RTA) RFA is complete.  The official list of awards is linked below.  We appreciate everyone’s participation in the grant process and encourage you to continue to apply for grants that benefit the students of the Commonwealth.

For reference, the top three scoring proposals for applicants having successful implementations of prior RTA grants, as well as the top three scoring proposals for applicants not previously having RTA grants are posted below.  All six of these applicants will receive awards as a result of this RTA grant competition, pending compliance with programmatic and budgetary requirements.
 
2013-14 21st Century Community Learning Centers RFA Awards
The Kentucky Department of Education is pleased to announce that the review process for the 2013-2014 21st Community Learning Centers RFA is complete. Awards are contingent upon available funding and regions, districts and schools meeting all programmatic and budgetary requirements. A technical assistance visit will occur to address next steps to program implementation and to address any technical deficiencies or other questions related to the 21st CCLC grant application. Cycle 5 Hybrid Bus Awards
Two districts applied and were awarded: Bullitt County ($311,945) and Campbell County ($64,091). Awards listed are contingent upon the district’s submission of a board-approved PA3 Form (School Bus Purchase Authorization), including options, as well as a signed Assurances Form to KDE’s Pupil Transportation Branch. If a board-approved PA3 Form and/or Assurances Form is not received, KDE reserves the right to rescind the offer.
