Kentucky, as well as the rest of the nation, is continuing to grow more diverse.

In order to address the needs of all students and ensure they are college and career ready, it is critical that we recruit and retain an effective and diverse teacher and leader workforce. The Kentucky Department of Education is committed to this endeavor through a variety of initiatives.
